You have had this IP for 10 days now, and it's in the same range as xx.xx.xx.xx
I see this pinging fine from my side and off the network.Can you please provide an MTR report containing at least 300 pings from your location to IP xx.xx.xx.xxx?
For your reference, I've included a guide to generating an MTR report in various operating systems below.
When testing the connection from you to your server, use your server's IP address as the target IP address.
Windows:
1. Download WinMTR from http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/
2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
3. Enter the created WinMTR directory.
4. Enter the WinMTR_x32 directory.
5. Doubleclick WinMTR
6. In the "Host" field, enter the target IP address.
7. Click Start.
8. Allow the program to process for at least five minutes (which should be 300 pings).
9. Click Stop.
10. Click "Copy Text to clipboard."
11. Paste (ctrl+v or right-click > paste) the generated MTR report into this ticket.
Mac:
1. Download mtr from http://rudix.org/packages/mtr.html .
2. Install MTR (Open the .PKG file and proceed through the prompts).
3. Open a Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal)
4. Enter the following command then press enter: sudo /usr/local/sbin/mtr -r -c 300 target_IP_address
5. You will be prompted for your password. Type your password and press enter.
6. Once your password has been accepted, the MTR begins running. This will take around five minutes. Please note that there will not be any output generated until MTR has finished running.
7. Copy and paste the generated output into this ticket.
Linux:
1. Login as root.
2. If it's not already installed, install MTR. (MTR is included in most distribution's repositories. For Debian-based systems (including Ubuntu), run "apt-get install -y mtr". For Red Hat-based systems (including CentOS), run "yum install -y mtr".
4. Run the following command: mtr -r -c 300 target_IP_address
MTR begins running. This will take around five minutes. Please note that there will not be any output generated until MTR has finished running.
5. Copy and paste the generated output into this ticket.
