In order for us to troubleshoot the connectivity issues we will need an MTR run from your home PC to your main IP address of your service and from you logged into your service to your home PC.
It is very important that you provide the MTR in both directions for us to troubleshoot any issues. It is also very important that you provide the report in a readable format for us to track trends. Screen shots and HTML formatted data is unusable and will only delay a resolution.
Linux:
- Installing mtr on linux: yum install mtr
- Run the following command: mtr --report [destination_ip_address]
Windows:
- Installing MTR on windows: download from http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/
- Winmtr is a graphical program and will pop up a window asking you for the host to test. Type in the destination IP address and click start
When sending the information to support please send it as text in the ticket.
